Les finlandais de Children Of Bodom annoncent la sortie de leur 8ème album studio 'Halo Of Blood' pour le 7 juin chez Nuclear Blast. La cover a été réalisée par Sami Saramäki (Follow The Reaper, Are You Dead Yet?, Hate Crew Deathroll).
L'album a été enregistré au Danger Johnny Studios en Finlande en collaboration avec Mikko Karmila, qui a déjà travaillé sur les albums 'Hatebreeder' 'Follow The Reaper' et 'Hate Crew Deathroll'. La production a été réalisée par le groupe et Mikko Karmila, les claviers ont été enregistré par Jane Wirman et c'est Peter Tägtgren qui s'est occupé de la production du chant. Le mix a été réalisé au Finnvox Studios en Finlande.
